Expansion bar - easy to install, high strength
Expansion bars for exercise are most often mounted in a door frame, although some people also mount them between closely located walls (e.g. in a narrow corridor). Their installation and adjustment are not complicated, but they do require the observance of a few rules to make the bar stable and safe for use.
First of all, it's a good idea to choose a suitable place to mount the strut rod, making sure that the walls are strong enough to support its (and your) weight. Next, you'll need to dismantle the rod by sliding out the pieces to which the screws are screwed. Some people secure the doorframe with extra boards to increase the space that is pressed against it to avoid deformation. Once the nuts have been tightened, it is still worth making sure that the rod fixing is stable and does not move. Exact installation instructions are included along with the matching screws.
